Every Loving Couple Should Know 5 Unique Things About Radha-Krishna’s Love

Where there is Krishna, there is Radha. The name of Lord Shri Krishna is associated with the name of Radha. Even today people call Kanha as Radhe Krishna, Radhe Shyam. Call it the strength of love between Krishna and Radha or call it an example of spirituality and inner union away from materialism, Lord Krishna and Radha are one and the same even if they are not with each other.

An example of their love is given. Both of them met in the streets of Barsana and Vrindavan in their childhood. They fell in love. According to the Puranas, like every loving couple, they also wanted to spend life with each other and get married but it could not happen. Krishna moved to Mathura and became a king.

It is said that before leaving, Krishna had promised Radha to return. However, Krishna never returned to Mathura. From the love story of Krishna and Radha, it can be understood that their love story remained incomplete. The two could not meet. But if we understand the depth of their love, then Radha and Krishna were never separate, so what is the meaning of their marriage and physical union. Let us know such unique things about the love of Radha Krishna, which every true loving couple should know.

Krishna Radha’s Rasleela

Even today, the story of Shri Krishna’s Rasleela is told like tales in the streets of Vrindavan. Local people say that Kanha used to sing Raas in the forest with Radha ji in the evening. To support them, the trees and plants of the forest used to become Gopis. According to mythological beliefs, Nidhivan of Vrindavan is the witness of Rasleela. Even today, Nidhivan is closed after the evening aarti. People believe that God comes here every evening to perform Raasleela. The trees become Gopis and Kanha and Radha are reunited.

Not only humans but even animals and birds do not see this Raasleela. Everyone moves away from Nidhivan. It is also believed that whoever tried to see Kanhaiya’s Raasleela was not able to tell it. Either he lost his senses or died due to some reason. The basil plants planted in Nidhivan are in pairs. Who take the form of Gopis to participate in the Raas Leela of Krishna and Radha.

Unique Things About Radha-Krishna’s Love

Krishna and Radha were not husband and wife, they were always known as lover and beloved. Krishna had 16108 queens, but in every temple, every statue and every picture, Krishna is not with his wives but with Radha. The love of only one Radha outweighs 16108 queens. Why after all? What was so special about the love of Radha and Krishna? Let us know why the love of Radha and Krishna is an example?

Radha And Krishna Are Not Different

Krishna and Radha showed their love that they are not different. If Krishna is the body then Radha is the soul. Many types of stories are popular. According to one of the stories, before Kanha left for Mathura, Radha Rani once asked Krishna why he could not marry her. On this Krishna asked whether anyone marries his own soul. It is clear from this answer of Krishna that he loved Radha ji so much that for him Radha had become his heart and soul, who always stayed with him.

Beauty And Age Difference

Love can happen to anyone. There is never any age restriction in love. Radha Rani was older than Shri Krishna, yet Kanha loved Radha very much. Age did not matter to both of them. Similarly, according to many scholars, Radha was as white and beautiful as milk, whereas Kanha was dark. Still both of them liked each other. Love comes from the heart, not from looks and age.

Marriage is Not Necessary For Love

Lord Shri Krishna is the incarnation of Vishnu. He was born with a greater purpose. Along with ending the cruelty of his own maternal uncle Kansa, Kanhaiya had appeared on this earth to show the path to the Pandavas for the victory of righteousness over unrighteousness during the Mahabharata period. Even though Keshav had many wives, he was not married to Radha. Krishna wanted to teach this world that marriage is not necessary for love. Love is complete in itself. If love does not reach its destination then do not give up and turn away from your duties, rather always keep it in your soul and move towards achieving your goals.

Relationship Between Radha And Krishna

There was something very unique about the love of Krishna and Radha. According to Brahmavaivarta Purana, Radha was married to a man named Rayana, who was the brother of Mother Yashoda. That means Radha seemed to be Krishna’s maternal aunt. However, such mention is not found in other Puranas. If this fact is considered true, then even though Krishna was in love with Radha in his childhood, she was already betrothed. When they grew up, Radha and Krishna understood this and by not marrying, they taught them that it is not wrong to say love, but it is wrong to try to get their love by going against morality and family.
