Search For Employment – Inspirational Story For Youth
Finding the right employment for oneself is everyone’s aim, but it is not necessary that a person should feel comfortable in it after getting employment. To understand the reason for this, let us go towards a beautiful story. Whose name is, search for employment. There was a college in the city where many intelligent boys studied. Karan was also among those boys, who was the son of an ordinary farmer living in the village.
He had come this far with his hard work and dedication and now he was looking for a good job to fulfill his father’s dreams. He was an able student, hence, he had received employment opportunities from many places, but he did not know any criteria for choosing employment so that he could remain happy in his work for a long time.
Like everyone else, he too, giving importance to money, chose the job with the best salary and started offering his services in the same company. Initially, Karan felt good about getting more money for his work, but as time passed, the glitter of money started losing its effect and Karan started feeling disappointed with his work. Karan had improved the conditions of his house in a few years but still, he was not able to concentrate on his work.
Going to the office every morning and coming home in the evening, was the basis of his life. Karan had many employment opportunities but he could not find any motivation other than money. One day, Karan suddenly leaves his office and goes out alone in his car.
After traveling for a few hours, he stops near a village where he sees a beautiful fruit orchard. He enters the garden. Inside he sees a person watering the trees. He approaches him and asks, “How do you live alone in this deserted area?” That person was elderly. He smiled and said, “If you think I am alone here, you are mistaken.”
Just look around and look around, you will hear the sweet songs of birds. The flying butterflies will be seen spreading beauty and the mischief of the monkeys will make you laugh and this is my world where I never feel alone.
Karan thought that perhaps this person might not have got any employment, hence, under compulsion, he is doing farming here, hence, he asked, “How far have you studied?” But, as soon as the person started introducing his education, Karan stopped speaking. In fact, that person was educated at the world’s largest college and had reached here after many years of work experience in the world’s largest company.
Karan couldn’t believe it after seeing the capability of that person. Looking at them with curious eyes, he said, “Don’t you think that you have wasted your education by engaging in farming?” While Karan is talking to him, at the same time some employees from the government department also reach here and they have come to invite this person as a special guest for the farmers’ program.
Karan wonders, “Why is an ordinary farmer being invited as a special guest?” This person was becoming a puzzle for Karan. As soon as the government employees left, Karan folded his hands and said, “Tell me who you are.
To me, you look like an ordinary farmer, but your education is saying something else and all this that I am seeing is beyond my imagination.” Seeing Karan upset, the man introduced himself and said, “I am the owner of an international company.
My company produces fruits worth millions of dollars every year, which are sold at good prices in foreign markets and I spend the money I earn from my business on planting fruit trees in desolate mountainous areas so that, Along with the support of the government, I also enjoy the charity of animals and this is the key to my success.
Karan started to realize that, “Earning money is not everything, there is something else apart from this which can be the basis of our real happiness.” What happened next, was he resigned from his job, and like them, he also started cultivating fruits in the mountains.
Within a few months, Karan’s hard work pays off and the mountains are filled with fruit trees, causing extinct birds to reappear in the environment. But, one day, the man mysteriously sends Karan to the company. After making it the owner, it disappears. After his departure, Karan tried hard to find him but to date, there has been no trace of him.
Even today, Karan is managing the same company with full responsibility. Karan had realized the purpose of his life and with this, the story ends.
